From the President 

Members:

I can’t believe my year as President is almost over.  At our May Chapter Meeting on May 22nd, we will be electing new officers for 2012-2013.  I have really enjoyed my time as President and want to thank my board members, committee chairs and committee members along with our members for their help and continued support of our chapter.  I feel we have had a great year, with successful events, fun social events, gained new members and participated in great community service projects.  We’ve offered professional development programs with re-certification points and some of us have attended leadership training and other workshops hosted by other chapters in our division.  We hosted a successful Administrative Professional Day Conference on April 26th. 

We will continue with board meetings, chapter meetings, social events and service projects etc…and we are looking forward to another remarkable year.  If you are a member and interested in serving as a committee chair or committee member, please contact one of our board members.

Some of our members are currently working toward obtaining a Member of Excellence (MOE) title for 2011-2012 and some have already received this title.  Congratulations to those who have received MOE. We (as a chapter) are currently working towards achieving the title Chapter of Excellence (COE) for 2011-2012.

The TX/LA Division Annual Meeting will be held next week in May and some of us are gearing up for that conference and looking forward to it.

Once again, I want to say thank you for a remarkable year as having the opportunity to serve as your 2011-2012 Bryan-College Station Chapter President!
